Look, up in the sky?

Is it a bird?
Is it a plane?
Or could it be a phoenix?

Out of the ashes, the pot-bound author ran — full focus on getting a website published.

And she did.

I stayed in my dressing gown until after lunch, typing away on my iPad inside the Squarespace template, drawing on years of other website creations, mistakes, experiments, dreams, dead ends and half-built online homes.

And somehow, this one looks like the best one yet.

She is basic.
She is original.
She is manifesting all on her own.

I can’t help thinking of Uranus and its influence in my life — the technology, the inspiration, the sudden out-of-the-box ideas that keep popping into my head like little lightning strikes.

When I look at my astrology chart against this revolutionary point in time, it feels as though a new revised edition of Jenny is being published.

Not just a website.

A version of me.

All my imagination, experience, frustration, spiritual knowledge, creativity, practical lessons and strange little ideas are rolling themselves into something new.

Creative writing.

Who would have thunk?

My mood today is a kind of happy exhaustion — the sort that comes after relentless tweaking, editing, reshaping, deleting, rewriting and nudging things into place. The website still has a way to go, but it has crossed the threshold. It is no longer a vague idea. It exists.

House of Mystique is beginning to stand.

And it will keep developing as the books arrive.

The One About the Shrinking Sneeze.
The Cuddle Club.
Stories waiting patiently in the wings, poised to be illustrated, each with its own little pulse.

Today my proof edition of The Tree Monsters arrives.

Will I resist the urge to tweak it?

Most likely not.

But perhaps that is part of the process too. A proof is not a punishment. It is an invitation to see clearly.

I have set the release date for 1st August 2026.

That sentence alone feels enormous.

A real date.
A real book.
A real website.
A real author emerging from the ashes.

The pot-bound author is not dead.

She has become a phoenix.
